NDIS Product Manager

Having just closed a major funding round and in late stages of an ASX IPO, Bridge is rapidly scaling development teams and needs an NDIS Product Manager with both technical and leadership experience to take the company to the next level. With challenges in the broader economy, Bridges’ mission to improve delivery of government services across WorkForce Australia, Disability Employment Services and National Disability Insurance Scheme amongst others has never been more important. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will bring the vision of the company to life including setting the technology path, with the added benefit of knowing that your work will be directly contributing to society.

Bridge builds its SaaS applications in house currency by diversifying the product and will be forming new agile development teams to work on a single platform. Being able to bring the CEO’s, product owners’ & customers’ ideas to life and lead the development teams to technical mastery will be key to the success of your role.

Bridge operates in a predominantly government funded sector that is certain to grow due to existing funding commitments with bi-partisan support.

About The Role

You will be responsible for providing an insight into current NDIS workflow disruptions and process bottlenecks, and providing process improvement suggestions and procedural efficiencies that eliminate unnecessary administration and reduce data entry time, allowing clients to deliver the framework that will achieve business growth, program and revenue performance efficiencies. Other responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing your existing knowledge of the NDIS and PRODA to identify workflow disruptions, process bottlenecks and technical inefficiencies and feed this back to team;
  • Providing an insight into NDIS provider organization processes and suggesting product efficiencies and features to team;
  • Leveraging external stakeholder relationships, gather, analyze and prioritize provider organizations’ data insights and business / process reviews in line with best practice procedures;
  • Apply new improvement concepts to products and where relevant partner in projects aligned to our products;
  • Use innovative and advanced technology to eliminate provider organizations’ unnecessary administration and reduce data entry time
  • Review existing policies, procedures and processes to ensure they are customer focused, appropriate, meet business needs and improve profitability;
  • Leading and contributing to a customer centric model across our products by seeking to understand what provider’s needs are and ensuring our products meet these needs;
  • Consulting with provider organizations from time to time on new processes and PRODA updates;
  • Participate in demonstrations and pitches with Head of Sales where required.

The skills and qualifications that will be required are the following:

  • Significant experience working directly with NDIS participants in support coordination, case management and claims environments;
  • Proven experience in and current operational knowledge of provider organization’s workflow processes including the use of PRODA;
  • The ability to understand and quickly identify workflow disruptions, process bottlenecks and technical inefficiencies;
  • Hands on experience in problem solving, a genuine passion for technology and an ability to deliver solutions focused customer service;
  • Confident in presenting solution demonstrations and training customers;
  • Strong team collaboration skills (including coaching, mentoring and leading) across mixed customer, supplier and geographically dispersed teams;
